San Francisco Chinese Food

Yin Du Wonton Noodle

My 5 days in San Francisco was primarily a competition with myself to see how much Chinese food I could eat. I walked, bused, and Lyfted in search of noodles, dim sum, and dumplings.

Yin Du Wonton Noodle

I don’t want to leave! A bowl of wonton noodle soup here will set you back less than $5. The soup was well balanced and the noodles had a good bite. The wontons were tasty. Remember to add red vinegar!

Good Luck Dim Sum

Good Luck Dim Sum

You can get 3 pieces of dim sum here for $2!! I got my usual dim sum order of shrimp dumplings (har gow), pork siu mai, turnip cake (luo bo gao), and noodle roll (cheong fun). It only cost me $7! For the price, I can’t complain but nothing really blew me away with the exception of the shrimp dumplings. They were huge and stuffed with delicious shrimp. The next time I go, I’m going to get a box of just the shrimp dumplings. They were so good and on par with what I’ve had at dim sum restaurants.

Kingdom of Dumpling

Kingdom of Dumpling

I ordered the pork with napa cabbage dumplings and the Shanghai soup dumplings. Dumplings are my favorite comfort food and these hit the spot. I ate here two days in a row. You get a lot for your money and the dumplings are handmade and yummy.
