Dolce Neve

Dolce Neve is the best gelato that I’ve ever eaten. The gelato is rich, creamy, and intensely flavorful. The owners are super nice and obviously have a lot of pride in their product. Many of the ingredients are sourced locally. The flavors range from dark chocolate and Madagascar vanilla to fromage blanc and chai tea. I love the salted caramel, mint, and coffee but they’re all incredible.

Amy’s Ice Creams

Any time is a good time for Amy’s Ice Creams! I get Chocoberry or peach when they’re in season but Zilker Mint Chip and Belgian chocolate are my other favorites.

Holla Mode

I was expecting to write off this place as a novelty but it was actually really good. It can take a while for them to make your order since they’re making it from scratch but it’s fun to watch them blend the ingredients and scrape your ice cream. The sticky mango was delicious and refreshing. The ice cream had a lighter flavor since it didn’t have cream which I think I prefer when it’s blazing hot outside.
